I have been downloading Korean pop-star's Kim Hyun Joong's new music -- I absolutely looooooovvveeee him. He's delicious eye-candy ^_~ He is gorgeous and from what I've seen on him in various tv appearances (on YouTube) he's so candid and funny. If only he had a twin in Canada T-T. Funny enough, there is a Surgical resident at my placement hospital that looks so much like him... and he, too, is eye candy :( Boooo... oh well. Looks aren't everything, I suppose. But tell me: would you be able to resist this face and smile?
I have been doing YogaDownload.com yoga videos for the last 2 weeks, and I'm loving it. I think I've found my "thing", at least for the time being. It relaxes me, stretches me out, and it's still challenging, so I feel like I'm getting a good workout in. It may not be cardiovascularly challenging in the way that the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or the Canadian Council of Sports Medicine (CCSM) recommend (they say at least 30 mins of moderate intensity 3-5x/week), BUT... it's better than doing nothing. And, I walk a lot (and I walk fast) so I'm going to say that counts. Occasionally I will bust a groove when I'm listening to music :)
My healthy eating is still going. I eat salads pretty much every day about 1-2 times per day. I include things like freshly minced mint, julienned carrots, diced tomatoes and peppers, and either: a hard-boiled egg, cut up cheese or ham. It's pretty good, in my opinion. Snacks usually include baby carrots and celery sticks with my homemade hummus or cottage cheese, yogurt, or cut up apple.
Otherwise, life is stable. No complaints here.
